Chennai 2 hour Load Shedding from Feb 27-2-2012 - Tamilnadu 4 Hours - Power Cut - Holiday for Industrial Zone

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced 2 Hour Load shedding for Chennai and outskirts from February 27 2012 (Monday). 


The remaining parts of the TN state will have 4 hours of power cut. (includes, Tiruchi, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kanyakumari, Nagerkoil, rural areas and entire Tamilnadu)


The following days has been announced as Power Holidays for the industrial zones mentioned below. There will be no power for High Tension Industrial connections on these days
Monday - Erode Zone
Tuesday -  Chennai South, Tirupathur
Wednesday - Chennai North, Madurai
Thursday - Coimbatore (Kovai)
Friday - Tirunelveli (Nellai), Tirupur, Nilgiris
Saturday - Tiruchi (Trichi), Vilupuram, Vellore 


- Almost no power cut for schools during examination
- There is consumption restriction for commeercial units from 6 pm to 10 pm in the evening
- The power situation likely to improve in June due to wind power.


The detailed load shedding on each area in Chennai (like T Nagar, Avadi, Mambalam, Velachery, Saidapet, Guindy etc) can be most probably seen in 'The Hindu' edition on February 26 2012. I tried to get it from TNEB website but till now they have not displayed it
