Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil will address the nation today January 25 2012 (Wednesday) at 7 pm in Hindi and English through Doordarshan and AIR.

Every year President will address the nation through media on the eve of Independence day and Republic day. DD1 (DD National), DD News and all channels of Doordarshan and AIR will carry the address. 


The telecast is not live. It will be recorded earlier and telecasted in the evening. The duration of the speech will be around 15 minutes in Hindi and 15 minutes in English. The regional version of the address will be telecast around 8.30 pm or 9.30 pm in regional channels.
