Southern Railway has announced cancelled train, postponed schedule and alternate route details for Trains departing from Chennai on December 30 2011 (Friday)


Schedule Change:
- 16735 - Chendur Express - Chennai Egmore to Tiruchendur - will depart at 6 pm instead of 4.05 pm
- 12633 - Kanyakumari Express - Chennai Egmore to Kanyakumari - will depart at 8 pm instead of 5.30 pm
- 12693 - Muthunagar Express - Chennai to Thoothukudi - Depart at 11 pm instead of 7.30 pm


Cancelled Trains:
- Chennai Puducherry (Pondicherry) Express from both direction cancelled
- Chennai Karaikal from both direction cancelled
- Chennai Mannarkudi Mannai Express from both direction cancelled
- Salem - Virudachalam train cancelled
- Salem to Mettur Dam both direction cancelled


Alternate Route: (Matru Pathai)
- Chendur Express will tavel in Villupuram, Virudachalam, Trichy Route
- Tirupati - Madurai Express will travel via Tiruchi
- Egmore Madurai Express will travel via Trichy
- Chennai Rameshwaram Express will travel via Viruthchalam, Tiruchi
