Thyagaraja Aradhana Jan 17-1-2017 - Live in Doordarshan - Thiruvaiyaru Pancharatna Keerthana Kritis on January 17th

The 170th Sri Thyagaraja Aradhanai at Thiruvaiyaru will be held from January 13 to 17, 2017. 

The main event of Pancharatna Kritis will be held between 9 am to 10 am on Jan 17, 2017 (Tuesday).

Doordarshan National Channel DD1 and Doordarshan Podhigai have regularly live telecasted the chorus recital of Pancharatna Keertanas from 8.30 am every year. This year also they are expected to do so on Jan 17th.

Only the performers to sit in the Pandal needs passes. Others can watch the event from the visitors gallery. Since the available space is smaller, you need to be there earlier.
You can stay at Thanjavur, which is about 15 km away. There are some good class hotels available - Gnanam, Parisutham.
